The difference between the standard search engines and Viewzi is in how Views are displayed versus the basic search results page from the big search engines.
On the Viewzi Celebrity Gossip View, users can choose between top stories from the very best celebrity news sites like TMZ, Perez Hilton, Yahoo!, PopSugar and Just Jared in a large news ticker at the top of the search results, standard links from recent articles in the middle of the article and photos from the latest celebrity news stories at the bottom of the search view. Recent New Features:
Setting A Default View. Users are now able to set a default view in Viewzi with a single click of a button. Before this feature was added users were directed to the View Mix. The View Mix feature allows users to quickly slide views left and right and select their desired view. Default views allow searchers who are registered on the site the ability to bypass the View Mix altogether. When a user performs their initial search they are now immediately taken to their chosen default search results view to see the results from their query.
Users still have access to all the views in the Viewzi search engine via the mini mix bar on the top of the browser window. Default views give users much faster access to the results they are seeking on Viewzi.
Favorites:
Users can now mark the Celebrity Gossip View or any other views as their favorites. This will give them easier access to the views they like the most. Additionally, users are able to select the favorite views they like and toggle the interface so only their favorites are shown in Viewzi.
Ratings:
Users can rate the views they use. Viewzi will use the ratings in future releases of the Celebrity Gossip View to help the Viewzi view selection engine determine view relevancy in relation to the search terms being used, data sources and search engine results being returned.
Comments:
Users can leave comments on each view to let Viewzi and other users know what they think of the Celebrity Gossip View. The information from this feature will also be used to evaluate what new features need to be included in future releases of individual views.
