Not sure why rappers think they are above the law to miss court dates and place their freedom in jeopardy. You would think that mega rappers like Lil Wayne would do everything by the book to stay free so he can spend his millions of dollars he has generated from putting words together over a hot beat.
Sources just revealed that Lil’ Wayne is absent from a Manhattan criminal court right now because he has some kind of dental (or possibly medical) emergency that prevents him from driving.
No bench warrant or summons has been issued, as yet — and he may still show. Wayne was due to face a weapons possessions charge.
In additional court news, Yung Berg is also due in Manhattan Criminal Court this morning.
