A judge has denied Remy Ma’s request to go on a European tour.
According to the MTV.com via AP, Remy Ma had requested a judge allow her to travel to Europe for a string of concert appearances beginning December 31st in Paris. Remy’s lawyer said yesterday (Dec. 20) that the rapper has had a hard time booking concerts in the US since her arrest last July for allegedly shooting a friend over missing money.
The presiding judge said due to the seriousness of the charges, she would not be permitted to travel.
Remy has been ordered to stand trial stemming from the July incident and is due back in court January 3.
